How we verify every refurbished deal
ShopDifferent specializes in certified refurbished, open-box and pre-owned tech. Every listing passes the same checks before it appears — and keeps passing them: stale prices and dead codes are removed automatically.
Condition first
We read the merchant's own condition data — certified refurbished, renewed, open-box or pre-owned — and show it as a badge on the card. Items without a clear condition never get a refurbished badge.
Discounts measured, not claimed
Every percentage-off is computed from the merchant's current price against its list price. Inflated list prices surface as what they are, and the saving is always shown in dollars too.
Partner stores only
Deals come from official affiliate feeds through the major networks (eBay, Impact, CJ, Awin, Rakuten). We never scrape stores, and checkout always happens on the merchant's own site.
Coupons that work
We show only codes the store publishes to its partners, expire them automatically, and let shoppers report which codes worked so stale ones disappear fast.
Freshness enforced
Listings older than a few days without a price re-check stop appearing. What you see was verified recently — never a months-old price.
